It has been incredibly helpful reviewing the work that we did over the 2 weeks of the course. I will be keeping all of the PowerPoints that Roxanne uploaded to acorn. There are so many resources that I can use. What I found truly inspiring was that these resources are cross-curricular.

I am so thankful that I took this course. I have learned more about special needs and disabilities in this course then any other. I think it should be a core course in Inclusive Education; all Learning Centre teachers require the knowledge that is obtained through the course.

There were so many "Aha" moments. Gaining a strong understanding of the neurological processes involved in the impairments many of our students have was game-changing for me as was the Motor Development and Sensory Development models. The strategies and tools that we were givento help our students with sensory deficiences are outstanding.

Finally, when I am dealing with any student my goal will always be to always ensure that they are in the Least Restrive Environment necessary. I had not heard of this before but it will be my guiding principal when I work with all of my students.

Thanks Roxanne!
